I know a lot of friends and even myself who first learned how to drive by just playing GranTurismo.
Basic car control, distances ( lane changing, how close you are to other vehicles in general ), looking at mirrors intuitively etc.
Really like PSVR, but my only worry is will it be future-compatible if ever Sony builds a PS5?
Just with their gaming headsets, I bought Pulse Elite on it's introduction which works with PS3 but not PS4, you have to buy/upgrade to Gold Wireless so you can avail of some special *audio features that a couple of games offer if you're using Sony headsets.
A good read.. actually thought if Microsoft/XBox didn't happen Sony wouldn't be as progressive and might not even be able to sustain the long haul.
Just think without the XBox, the PS2 might have a longer life span because Sony basically has monopoly of the gaming industry, and a lot of independent game devs would be ignored by the wayside., only the ones that Sony thinks will make a lot of sales will be given the chance.
In turn could be more favorab...
Would have been nicer if the dad got to ask daughter about her impressions of PSVR.
Sadly my original behemoth PS3 did last year., but am keeping it and planning on getting later version so I can continue playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist and GT6 and my other PS3 games.
True, people have mixed feeling about VR as a tech and also with it's pricing but what it'll do to gaming in general is moving it to the next level - in experience mainly.
What I did notice though with a few VR headsets is some have built-in headphones and others do not.. in my opinion I prefer not having headphones built-in - firstly, what if it offered inferior audio, secondly, they look rather flimsy or bulky or both which could easily break your beloved VR. thirdl...
A cross between Tomb Raider/Bayonetta would be great with a Wonder Woman game.
It's an alright cover I think, normal LaFerrari would suffice but FXX is the ultra-hyper version. What's important is the gaming experience it delivers.
There are a lot of conspiracy theory within the game that needs to be answered honestly., so really hoping another series would be developed.
And build a really compelling end battle sequence instead of undeserving/lazy quick-time-event ( QTE ) game play.
What Tomb Raider series and the Indiana Jones game lacked, Uncharted ( basically NaughtyDog ) studied and made into one cohesive unit.
Film Gravity crossed my mind when I saw Adrift..
Will be waiting for Allison Road, White Day.
Yes to VR DriveClub, Project CARS and Gran Turismo Sport.
( I'd like to see something like a VR Inception-like game )
Really Great that the game would end on a high note.
But my gut feeling is Uncharted could/would be revived sometime in the near future when the time is right and the need is there.
Think it's not really goodbye but more like see you soon.
Nice to see Assetto be available for console gamers'.
Project CARS was alright, I hope this is better and that it would feature something new and unique.
I'll be getting once the price start to go down a bit or retail outlets are prepared to do better bundle deals with VR headsets.
Most are going to purchase it on PC and PS4.
Add to the fact it went head-to-head with a couple of other AAA titles that have a huge fan-base. Meaning these fan-base will be preoccupied for awhile.
Fact. Xbox ONE did not fulfill/or was not as able enough as PS4 in giving gamers' good next-gen resolution on a couple of multi-platform titles just made them decide to go with the competition.
Think though with next-gen consoles it will become a more level playing field with Sony and Microsoft.
Full HD resolution or even 4K(?) game enable, 2TB minimum at least offered as standard in the box, VR for Sony/AR for Microsoft tech ( if both succeeds ), introduction ...
Video is the first time ever I have seen video cam is shot in passenger seat location.
Problem really was Microsoft didn't have enough games on launch day and the very few good games that were out couldn't really sustain gamers' appetite with the more mediocre titles which were also out.
Games that people really wanted to collect/buy was honestly coming out at a slow pace if you compare it with the XBox 360 and also the original XBox.
After using PSVR you can go back and watch programs, Blu Ray/DVD on your Super HD/4K screens.. that's the point and it's a Sony product.
True., most TV programs and even a lot of Blu Ray disc can't go the full 4K that's a fact. It's all just **enhanced-quality with all brands.
Just for being a huge fan of the late great Colin McRae and the various liveries of his former rally cars on offer with Dirt Rally 4 will I get this game. I'm sold.
